Buying coins, medals, banknotes and bullion… Auckland and nationwide

My name is Howard Mitchell and I’ve been dealing in coins, medals and banknotes since 1980 and established my own store in 1994. I’m well known amongst collectors and dealers throughout the country and am a member of the New Zealand Numismatic Dealers Association. My interest is in purchasing larger coin collections and banknote collections from New Zealand and around the world, medals and bullion, especially in quantity. Large accumulations and estate lots are a specialty as are rare individual items. If it’s time to sell, please contact me.

You may wish to call at our Auckland store in Newmarket which has parking at the door - all we ask is that you phone first. Alternately, I frequently travel around New Zealand purchasing coin and banknote collections and may be able to call and see you if there is significant value involved. I am frequently in Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin and visit most other areas as needed. If the collection warrants it,
I can visit personally, sometimes at quite short notice.

A simple phone call is all that’s required to set the ball rolling. I handle all enquiries myself so you can expect personal, friendly and knowledgeable service.
